Commendation for Macleans College at the Learning Environments Australasia - NZ chapter awards

Celebration of the week - We have received a commendation for Macleans College at the Learning Environments Australasia - NZ chapter awards!

These are a really interesting set of awards. They seek to understand how projects meet the schools education brief and supports the pedagogy of the school – which is a difficult thing to articulate especially with the constraints of the awards submission. There are so many intricacies involved when designing for a school, from understanding their individual pedagogy, what their current goals are and what their future ones may be, the needs of their students and wider community, to getting their teams and pupils involved to ensure that the spaces reflect what makes them uniquely them. We are thrilled to receive this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the educational sector!

Designing for schools is something our team are hugely passionate about, and have a commitment to creating sustainable, meaningful spaces for learners and educators across the country. Clive Chapman, Managing Director, is the incoming Chair for the Association for Learning Environments NZ in 2024, and Caroline Farnan, Associate, had the opportunity to judge the Victoria and Tasmania chapter of the Learning Environments Australasia awards in 2024.
