Pacific Environments is committed to architectural design excellence, creating inspiring 'fit for purpose' built environment solutions for our clients.
Sustainability, lifestyle and the creation of enduring investment value is core to our design philosophy.
Pacific Environments NZ Ltd is a bespoke architectural studio with a long history. We have considerable experience in the design of buildings and spaces in the areas we live, work, learn and play. Be it an education facility, community centre, sport facility, retirement village, residential housing or commercial fit-out. We have a team nearing 40 members, with 12 being Registered Architects, and a large group working towards their Registration.
Our diverse portfolio finds us working on a collection of different designs, from small to large scale, mixed budget and mixed uses, renovations and alterations to new developments. We find our work challenging, interesting and enjoyable.
Our positive, energetic and hands on approach, along with our focus on understanding our clients needs, means that we deliver real tailored solutions, not generic answers, in a fun-filled process.
There is a long history within the office, celebrating over 50 years.
Formerly Dodd Paterson + Bukowski Rehm, and then ADP Architects, the practice was originally formed in 1960. Two of the staff from that office are currently consultants to Pacific Environments NZ Ltd today.
The current practice, Pacific Environments NZ Ltd, was formed in June 2006 through a merger with Peter Eising (previously a founding director of the highly acclaimed Architects Patterson) and the renowned and successful ADP Architects. In 2013 Grant Neill from Grant Neill Architects merged his business with Pacific Environments, bringing his wide range of architectural and urban design experience.
In this time they have evolved and strengthened, picking up awards, working on some amazingly unique projects, and continued to push the limits of architectural design.
