Although the final results haven’t been released, we’re proud of our Pacific Environments cyclists who took part in this years Aotearoa Bike Challenge.
At the close of the event Pacific Environments were in 3rd position within their category, having collectively cycled 2,280 kilometers during the month of the challenge, which is a pretty fine effort! Overall 24,719 participants took part, cycling 105,521,683km which helped reduce carbon emissions by an estimated 4,647,231kg.
Cycling is one way that we, as individuals can contribute towards creating more sustainable cities, with the bonus of improved personal fitness and reduced parking fees. So many reasons to get on your bike.
