ASB’s brief required their new image and colours incorporated into a contemporary building over 2x levels plus basement carpark, a drive-through banking facility and retail banking on ground level. The balance of the ground floor was developed into retail and café. The features include large cantilevered boardroom ‘box’ front over the drive-through, louvered façade over black-on-white base; all requiring stringent engineering design to achieve the over-scaled proportions, within a ‘developer’ budget… a major success, on time and budget.

The site sits on the edge of a busy arterial road and residential behind requiring careful design considerations to appease residents while making a strong commercial statement.

CPRW Fisher architects did the first design and Pacific Environments took over from developed design as a design-build project with Clearwater Construction
