4 - Onepoto Visitor Facilities



Located at the (epi)centre of the volcano, the facilities serve the domain's many functions of sport and recreation while providing an innovative design solution. The form and style follows the organic nature of the bridges, gates and other structures in the Domain. The building collects rainwater for flushing toilets and the awnings not only provide shading but are also designed to accommodate photovoltaics for future sustainability of the building.
