The school wished to create a new Auditorium capable of accommodating the whole school which could also be used successfully by the local community. The raised stage, flat ground-floor seating, and tiered gallery seating will cater for both community and School productions, including those of the strong Kapa Haka Club, as well as a space for exams, productions and School prizegivings.

The two level foyer to the Auditorium and Administration areas commands an impressive street presence and together with a new driveway and landscaping provides a very visible formal entrance to the School grounds.

In Stage two specialist facilities for the Music and Drama departments were created which double in purpose as the back stage facilities for a formal production.
