The brief for this Geotechnical and Water Engineer’s office re-fit was based upon a tight budget & clever use of materials and colour to bring their office into the 21st century. The design concept recognises the ‘nature’ of the business -earth, water and air, reflected in contrasting contemporary materials and colours.
This involved an entirely new open plan for the offices and meeting rooms as well as a large new reception / waiting area, a fresh new interior colour palatte & feature signage (based upon the colours of their logo) and use of natural ‘stone’ (reception back wall). Other design features include a ‘scrabble board’ artwork with Geotechnical words in the boardroom and commissioned photographic artworks.
