BRIEF: Innovative Design to attract businesses to set up office in a fast growing ‘greenfields’ location close to home.
SOLUTION: The project is designed around a central courtyard as a ‘focus/heart’ of the project, encouraging ‘social interaction’ –supported with central 3-level water feature to the sculptural stair and lift shaft, café/restaurant spilling out and the surrounding offices and walkways reinforcing and protecting the peripheral edges. The success has meant that local businesses have reduced travelling distances and the ‘mixed use’ minimises additional travel.
