A multi functional community cultural centre in the heart of the Taupo business centre.
This civic amenity comprises an Information Centre associated to the District Library.
A separate building accommodates a live theatre seating 360 people, a multi-purpose flat floor auditorium with seating for 500, lounges, foyers and dressing rooms all suited to conferencing events.
All the spaces have multiple uses enabling a wide spectrum of the local population to utilise the facility with live theatre performances and auditorium/exhibition operations occurring simultaneously. Overflow is accommodated by way of a marquee and its success is illustrated by its extensive use.
The building includes a security system, is electrically heated and is partially mechanically ventilated.
