BRIEF: Retirement Village, Green-fields site, maximise development potential, integrated into the fastest gowth area of Auckland. Master Planned Urban Designed community, initially part of a mixed use community of over 500 homes. Retirement village lived on.
SOLUTION: High density optimised apartment development designed around the Waitakere Gardens model of ‘communities within communities’ –3 storied atriums and open landscaped spaces.Complete with common facilities –café/restaurant, library, lounges, theatre, activities, pool, spa, fitness facilities, sports atrium –giant chess, wooden floor for indoor sports etc. Mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, common lounges, internal walkways.
