our services & expertise
architecture –
We offer a complete design package from briefing to project completion - site selection and pre-purchase feasibility, preliminary design, developed design, detailed design, contract documentation & contract administration (refer “6 step design process”)
While design may be rightly regarded as our core skill, architects are also trained to take an overview of the entire building process. No other professional can offer such a comprehensive service nor such quality in each of its components.
A client who uses an architect won’t necessarily pay more than they would have otherwise, but it is highly likely that the end result will represent substantially greater value for money.

master planning -
This happens at the outset of (usually) a larger multi-unit project, and can also happen on smaller projects.
The outcome being an architectural scheme that identifies a project’s optimal possibilities & risks (short and long term) and therefore offers the client the design information necessary to assess the viability & success of a large scale project.

urban design –
An overall, large scale architectural design process which focuses on creating a desirable & interactive environment in which to live, work and play.
Design analysis includes the relationship between buildings, streets, land use, open space, circulation, height, natural features and human activity.
A well designed urban or suburban environment demonstrates the four generally accepted principles of urban design :
-clearly identifiable function for the area
-easily understood order
-distinctive identity and
-visual appeal

development consultants -
As architects we are often asked to simply identify the development opportunities within certain sites …..what can be built, how many units, how high, configuration, opportunities?
We are asked to envisage something that the developer or client may not see, and as designers to push the boundaries of imagination – what is possible for this site?
Prior to (and after) committing to a site purchase, this process is largely about identifying, assessing and minimising possible risks.
We work with a network of professionals who provide an overlay of data - financial, legal, Town Planning, statutory, contributions, land tenure, leasing, site-survey, market research and sales.
The outcomes are fully assessed and become the basis for a decision upon the feasibility of continuing further.

environmental sustainability -
Sustainable design and development is maintaining a delicate balance between the human need to improve lifestyles and feeling of well-being and preserving natural resources and ecosystems on which we and future generations will depend.
Sustainability in architecture is an expansive area and can range from ‘big picture’ site selection & building orientation to solar panels and passive ventilation / heating through to high tech smart building technology & energy conservation.
Today we can literally ‘measure’ the advantages of sustainability and energy savings through our in-house accredited Green Star and LEEDS specialists and systems.

landscape design -
As architects we see the exterior as an extension of the interior space, therefore conceptually and aesthetically integrate them into the overall design as part of the master plan.
Landscape design is the art of arranging, incorporating and/or modifying the features of the landscape –whether coastal, rural, urban or suburban for aesthetic and functional purposes.
A landscape consultant is often employed for more detailed layout & planting schemes based upon our concept.

interior design -
is a multi-faceted profession in which creative and technical solutions are applied within a structure to achieve a refreshing built interior environment.
These solutions are functional, enhance the quality of life and culture of the occupants, and are aesthetically attractive.
It involves reinforcing and enhancing the design concept, bringing together the spatial analysis and interior planning, research and selection of materials, finishes, fixtures, joinery, window treatments, furniture, art and sculptural selection and design.
Our work extends from residential, office, commercial, retail, café etc through most projects we are involved with. At times, consultants are employed to assist in specialised fields.
